Anglesey Wildflower Honey

At Anglesey Bees we are passionate about the quality of the wildflower honey that we produce and sell. You can be assured that it is always fresh and all produced by us. Unlike many other honey suppliers, we do not buy honey in bulk from other beekeepers. Furthermore, we do not keep a stock of honey from previous years to even out the supply. We harvest the spring hedgerow honey in June and summer wildflower honey in August. We can identify the source of each jar of honey and the flowers the bees are likely to have been foraging on. 

Our honey is runny initially and will naturally start to crystalize and solidify in about 4-6 months. If you prefer runny honey, store it in a warm place, whereas storage in the fridge will eventually make it solid.

 Anglesey Bees has been named among the top food and drink producers globally in 2024, picking up a highly prized 1-star Great Taste award for its Anglesey Summer Wildflower Honey. It was described by judges as "very delicate in flavour, bright and appealing, with a real blast of the hedgerow in the aroma" at the world’s most coveted food and drink awards. They called it “a honey we would enjoy on our toast".

Food Hygiene assurance 

To ensure that we exceed food hygiene requirements, we have registered as a food producer and completed formal training in food hygiene and safety for manufacturing and have adopted a food safety management system following the principles of HACCP and TACCP.   We have a purpose-built honey exctacting and packing room and were awarded a food hygiene rating of 5 (very good) following a council food hygiene inspection, something that most beekeepers don't have.

 Buying wildflower honey from Anglesey bees

We sell our premium Anglesey Honey in attractive 8oz and 12oz hexagonal jars for £6.50 and £8.50 respectively. You can call for it in person or order it to be delivered by post. Please contact us in advance to arrange a suitable time to call in person to buy honey. We can take cash or card payments.

Please contact us for details in plenty of time as we do not keep them in stock and make them to order. We sell them at £3 each with a minimum order of 30 jars.

Anglesey Wildflower Honey by Royal Mail parcels

You can buy our honey by completing the order form at the bottom of this page and pay by online banking (using our details at the bottom of the page) or by card over the phone. We will then send it to you by Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48 delivery. Please remember to add the correct amount for postage. Royal Mail will let you know when the parcel will be delivered and you can make alternative delivery arrangements with them if you are not in. We therefore need the email and phone number of the recipient if you are buying honey for someone else e.g. as a gift.  Please note that we do not send honey overseas and cannot be held responsible for the time it takes for Royal Mail to deliver your parcel.
