We encourage you to bring with you your boots, to explore our meadows, woodland and lakeside paths and experience the relaxing power of nature in this haven for wildlife. You may be fortunate enough to encounter birds of prey, migratory geese, red squirrels, weasels, hedgehogs and maybe otters.
At night, with a cloudless sky and no light pollution, Trefnant Bach rivals most designated dark sky parks. The milky way and lunar phenomena are often seen with mind-blowing clarity.
Trefnant Bach was the childhood home of Tecwyn Roberts, who became NASA's first Flight Dynamics Officer and was instrumental in the success of the manned moon landings. To honour his achievements, we have erected a plaque and named our rooms the Apollo Suite and the Mercury room.
